A financial book for kids that explains it all
Financial Fun from A—Z by Brooke Lapides is a fun way to ease the youngest readers into the complicated subject of money. Using the alphabet to define financial keywords is a great start to opening a conversation about why parents handle money the way that they do.
Parents, use this financial book for kids the next time you explain a purchase
Say you are in the process of purchasing a home. Do your children realize what it means to have a mortgage? Why you need to budget purchases differently because of a mortgage. Financial Fun from A – Z will start the conversation of why families budget money the way they do.
Fun and colorful illustrations
I spoke to Brook Lapides about her cute and fun illustrations. She explained to me in our podcast that she created them herself using Canva. These eye-catching drawings entertain even the youngest of readers. I showed them to my three-year-old and he pointed to all the toys and animals, listing what they are. It made for an enjoyable storytime, as we learned the letters of the alphabet together.
