Hello, hello, hello!

I am super excited to be publishing the first-ever edition of the Book Smuggler’s Den online literary magazine! It has been a dream of mine for quite some time now to do something of this size and magnitude for the writer’s community!

I started my blog a year ago this month with the intention of writing book reviews on everything I was reading at the moment. Thanks to Pinterest and Twitter, I saw other avid readers challenging others to read a book a week. Up until then I had forgotten to make time to read and figured this would be one goal to keep and actively pursue.

I am a part of a local author community here in the Denver area that is all about learning how to market a book. As a digital marketer and soon to be published author myself, I started to see what a challenge it can be! My fellow authors suggested I start out small and submit to literary magazines, contest, and anthologies. What a great way to get my feet wet! It got me thinking, what if I started my own online literary magazine to promote authors that are in the same position as me.

So here we are! I want to thank all the authors who submitted to this month’s edition. There were so many great reads and well, I’ll let you get to it!
